What is YAF?: The Youth and Family Program is a workshop using "Streetwise to Sex Wise" curriculum for male and female participants between the ages of 12 and 19 years. This is a teen pregnancy prevention program. The program is also a youth leadership workshop. There are special guest speakers doing presentations during some special sessions in the workshop. The program focuses on family strengthening, engagement in positive activities, motivation, self-esteem, and empowering youth to be confident, productive, and successful citizens. Program Objective: YAF is dedicated to helping the youth to discover and develop their potential through these workshop. The program also helps them to develop leadership skills, acknowledge responsibility for their actions, and set goals for their future.

Our Services Are Available To: - Southeast Asian youth living in Stockton/San Joaquin County ages, 12-19 years.
- Youth may be referred by teachers, counselors, and other youth service providers. Slef-referral is also acceptable
Language Accessible Staff: There are staff members who speak Lao, Hmong, Vietnamese, Khmu and Cambodian. If you need assistance or help with a problem, please call and ask to talk to the staff member who can speak your language. Background: Youth and Family (YAF) is a program funded by Delta Health Care. YAF is aimed at providing youth with knowledge and skills to help them become confident, productive, and successful individuals. Workshops are held every: - Mondays and during school breaks (Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer )

- Location: Lao Khmu Association, Inc.
- We also have Youth Workshop at Edison High School on Tuesday mornings.
